Yea I didn't have insurance on that female either.  Win some, lose some I guess.  Let me know how it turns out with the other eggs from this flush!

Here's an update for you.  That one embryo we put in my home cow...STUCK!  One for one on my cows...0 for 10 on the vets cows.  HMMMMM.  Going to stick the remaining three in cows this fall.

You got fertilized eggs, at the point that you got fertilized eggs the semen and the donor had both completed their jobs...there isnt enough info about the recips or handling, but this is definately an issue of either the recips not being set up properly or improper embryo handling... remember that for good success the recips need to be on the exact same day of the heat cycle, if we could time it to the hour that would be even better...but this definately isnt the fault of either your donor or monopoly...I would not be concerned to flush her the same way next year.

I here you twisted....however, i was not real concerned about those other cows because they where in the good hands of a very highly recomended embryo vet.  Something must have gone wrong, I actually talked to the vet this morning to tell him about my cow that stuck, and he is still scratching his head.  He says everything was done right...obviously not.

Thanks for all the comments!  I'm putting the remaining six in cows in November, I'll let everyone know how we do with those.
