I'm really getting into the new CD made with Robert Plant and Allison Krause.  Who would ever think those 2 would make such a great cd!  My husband asked me if I was going to wear hippy garb and start saying peace to everyone, but I really like it!

I think its got a little bluegrass flair to it.  My husband thinks its more early 70's folk music.  I like cooking to it and relaxing.  Definitly not clipping music lol, I leave that to AC DC lol

Not that anyone will have ever heard of it...but right now I'm listening to Coheed & Cambria a lot, mostly In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3, and Scary Kids Scaring Kid's  Snake Devil.

My top 2 songs have remained the same since the 1960's: I still haven't heard anything better.

"People are Strange" - The Doors  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcb3l_2GLX4
"For What It's Worth" - Buffalo Springfield  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0g9PiEgYYUU

I thought kids were supposed to despise their parents music tastes from the past!? My boys are stealing all my good Boston, AC/DC, CCR, Aerosmith, etc... I don't get it. Thats not the way it's supposed to work.  ???

Well, you know how that old rock never really died out lol.  My mom is stealing my music, that's the really strange thing!

my husband came home with a really neat cd the other day though.....its called "pickin' on nickelback"....now i love nickelback and like bluegrass....but i thought a cross between the two.... ???....its awesome!!!!  i even took it to school and let the kids listen to some of it, just to see what they thought, and they loved it too   <party>  ....he got it at one of the bookstores in the mall....but i found this website that has a bunch of other "pickin' on..." albums.....

Haha I hate listening to what my parents listen to. Especially my dad, hes into the AM stations and some farm channels with lots of crazy oldies. I cant take that. Im more into pop, hip-hop, rock type stuff. But a few good songs are Stop and Stare by OneRepublic. Sexy Can I by Ray J, Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis and Let It Die by Three Days Grace. haha

I like just about anything country, but my favorite would have to be something by Chris Ledoux, don't know which song though, he sang too many good ones to choose a favorite.
