Jamie...

Suppose you had Kay slaving away while you were messing with the camera!

Things look good up your way!

Some nice looking cattle there. Nothing better than seeing a mob of well bred well conditioned cattle. The whites look like they are starting to out number the blacks  ???

To answer Husker first ,ya KAY'S doing a lot of the  work yet ,got a 1000-- 1700 LB  bales to move out of pasture hills ,do have a hired man that is helping out a lot ...
he also has a cute little blonde giirl wanting to show some calves ...Need to get bales to decent road to sell them ....The OLIE bull has sired some nice heifer calves on reg. Angus cows ....real soggy ....

Aussie- still got a lot more black cows but using them half Charolais bulls on the later calving ones ,very good demand for the half an 1/4 charolais females ....Use to be I complained when heifers out numbered steers , but good females out sell those males ...

Skeeter---THE red & white calf was out of a smoke CARNAC daughter and CARPE DEIM ,HAD GOOD HAIR ,STRUCTURE and he brought a 1000.00  ...The other calf is out of SILVER GHOST (a Friction X 2801 Charolais donor ) ,will have some good show heifers out of him later ....Some of the other calves were Monopoly ,CARNAC ,AND BOJO AND MY TURN...SOME of our top heifers will be at Norfolk and they are MONOPOLY ,BOJO, AND MY TURN ....

CHAMBERO--We do have hay for sale ,it isn't our choice meadow hay, it is hay in the low spots of our pastures and this ground had not been hayed for 4-5 years.
It's put up in net wrap,1650-1700 lb. round bales ...have at least 600 bales and maybe more ,depends on the winter ...This hay isn't the bright green looking hay, but it was put up in middle of AUGUST -EARLY sept... Do have a pasture that we had been haying for 2-3 years and it will be better ,but depends how winter goes ...Do
have a test on the first 600 I could send you ...
