I shipperd a single weaning hfr yesterday that was red with white belly. weighed 515 lbs and brought $135.50/cwt. I wish I had a trailer load to sell.

350-400 lb heifers were netting just about the same down here last week at $175/cwt.  Everyone thought it would cause a run on the auction barn this week but they're still having trouble getting a good run.  I can't imagine having a field of oats/rye grass with no stocker calves right now.  Those things are going to be EXPENSIVE to fill.
