Finishing?

I couldn't find the most recent picture but my steer weighed 990 last weekend. To make weight hes got to get to 1000, which shouldn't be a problem. The fair pays to 1250 so I would like to get him around there. How do you guys think hes looking compared to how he should? Is there anything I should be adding to his feed and what not? Ill have new pictures tomorrow.

What are you feeding now? How much? How long till the fair? It also seems real strange that they stop paying at 1250, this seems kinda ridiculous.

hes being fed around 20-25lbs of a show ration plus grass hay. there is about 65 days till fair, and i couldnt agree more. im not too sure why they stop there but it sucks!
