First calf heifer

If everyone's first calf heifers nursing a calf looked like this the beef world would be in a better place.  They are not supposed to look like show heifers with a calf standing next to them.  
Everybody talks about breeding them to be more maternal.  This is what maternal looks like, not just painting a blaze or baldi face on them!

 Thanks for all the comments.  We still have the sire and dam, so figured we would try for another.  Here is the bull we are breeding her to this year.

I Think they both look great and she is doing what she is suppose to and if you were to clip her up she would just as good as any. But she is doing what she should do have a calf get as big as possible and as quick looks like a great pair to me.
