Don't want to seem mean, but even when you say building legs, there are lots of ways of using paint to do it. I'll try to explain a little-
The most basic way is to fit the leg like normal, clip it out, and then put a light, even coat on the leg and then clip off the wild hairs. Then you can go back and put another coat on and see where you're at. You can do multiple coats, but if you're inexperienced with this sort of fitting, I'd just start with one or two light EVEN coats. The worst thing you can do is get crazy when you first put the paint on. Remember that you can always use more, and a lot of times you will only need a few coats. Try to watch some folks in your area that are more experienced, and even ask them to show you. I know that I never turn down a chance to help out people, especially if they listen and try to do it the right way
