Fly Control

What does everyone use for fly control.  Mine (which is nothing special) comes from the local farm&ranch store.  Do you use sprays, powders, tags, etc.  Any information is appreciated.

We use Bronco and vinegar mix. It stinks but works really well, the flies hate it. good luck.

hmm, i've never seen a spray bottle like that before.

That spray bottle really looks like a "pair."  It would be hard to keep a straight face taking that out in public.

We feed with a trip hopper on the back of the truck.  We have a 15-gallon weed sprayer mounted on the back of the truck also.  We dump out a line of feed and then make a pass right behind the cows and spray them as we go by.

1. Rotate Elector bait and QuickBait - different classes
2. Spot spray with a cheap pyrethroid for quick kill and to keep flys off the animal

Cows:
1. Ivomec pour on at preg check
2. Elector pour on for lice in winter
3. Spot spray cows as needed in summer Elector/Pyrethroid rotation
