I just bought her at the sidwells production sale last dec. but Jerry warned me about her when she has calf. we have a couple of cows that are pretty nasty for the first couple of days but they come around and let us do what we want to with them. i hope she gets like that.

Jack, I would love to have you come by sometime toward the end of March.  I want you to see my fall calves and in March and April I will be getting some of the above listed calves.  I have a 92J heifer that I have out of a small Angus cow.  She is out growing everything that I have in my pasture.  She is long, square, hairy and could be made to be a little puppy.  I bred several to him this fall after looking at her.  I wish he had more milk but I love his genetic pedigree.  He died last year after a bull fight with other bulls at Glen's.  Glen said he was going to use him more this year.  I asked him if he had very many cows out of him and he said that he could not keep them.  That seems like a good reccommendation.  I want to get some cows out of Hummer as I think he is one of the great unsung heroes.

Welcome to the board.  A man of your great knowledge can really help others to learn.  We are glad you are here.

Thanks for the compliment. I just like cows, especially Maines.  Agree with you 200% about Hummer. I always really liked the way he's designed. 4E, if I remember, show a son a couple of years ago out of Hummer and I thought he could of won Denver.

DL, I would love see a pic when you have the calf out of Sin City. That mating sounds interesting.

We are really looking forward to the Wymore's out of related females. Just another loop in our linebreeding prgram.

Hi, elbee (welcome)

Can you explain a little more on linebreeding? I've been seeing a lot of Habanero cows being bred back to Habanero bulls.
Als what is Wymore?
Great to have you onboard!

Red,

Wymore is our AI bull ELBEE Leader 321N ASA#x4081003 featured with Semex.

Here at ELBEE Farms, we have been basically a closed herd for 40 years. Using Deerpark Improver 3rd (not an Improver son) as the hub, with all cattle looping back to him. We are striving to achieve an efficient "Flinthills" friendly mama cow, with eye appeal,  that will work for anyone in our area.

Thanks for asking, I love telling people about our mission.

Red,
I had a shorthorn man come by today and asked me to price my 2 month old Lifeline bull calf.  My red one with the white spots.  If I knew how I would post his two week old picture.  He is really wonderful and gentle as a puppy.  He is a double bred Habanero.

Red thanks for posting the photo for me.  His momma behind him lost her ears in cold weather when she was a pup.  The photo was taken when he was two weeks old.  Thanks again.  :D  Hope everyone enjoys him.  He has really grown.  I will make a photo next week and send it to you.
