07 almost broke us all it was so dry - 08 was dry early then normal - this year was the first year I've ever had a watermelon patch that I didn't have to water ( really may never see that again ) - we've had ample rainfall for the most part though some periods we lacked a little - just got three inches in the last 2 days and we really needed it. Back in the spring I saw some water levels as high as I've ever seen them in some of the creeks - washed out a bridge near me that has been there since the 50's as well as some 1/4 mile stretches of road. We are still waiting on them to be repaired - kind of been taking the long way around to get to some areas. I hear the flooding in the Atlanta area is pretty bad - there's so much pavement up there that the water has nowhere to go but up. I've got a friend that went up there to see his girlfriend and is stuck up there right now.
