Found some nice calves today

I was invited last week to look at some local calves and went to see them today.  They are owned by the Dufelmeier family of Jacksonville, IL.

They have PB Shorthorn, Angus  and Simmy steers and heifers along with some fancy crossbreds.  The numbers they quoted me were very reasonable.  I think several would fit well in some high-end sales.

I bought a heifer from them last year and was pleased with how she turned out.  They treated us very well, so I thought I'd let fellow Steer Planet members in on my find.

I have to add to this one as well - Arron is one very good stand up guy, I have been there to his place as recently as this July, and he has been here as well a couple times. County Agent there in Jacksonvile -- great people for sure.

We met them thru another good friend of ours -- he works REALLY hard with his cattle, and loves em all. Nothing but good there when it comes to word and promises. If you like something there, you won't be sorry later with the service you'll get -- can't say enough -- just darn good people!

Aaron has a couple of herd bull prospects as well.  One is a Shorthorn, the other a Sim.

Both are broke, his son showed them at the county fair this summer.
