Fun with my son and his new heifer

After almost 4" of rain, flooding, and pumping out water in my shop/basement, the weekend turned out beautiful.  My son has his first "real" heifer to show this year and we had a ball with it.  Thought I'd share Evan and Jules with you all.  He's worked so hard for a 6 year old and I'm so proud of him.  Little guy also built his own practice show arena out of woven wire and baling twine lol.

Not only a cute pair, but a pretty dang nice profiling little heifer!  They should do great this year.  The "cute" factor is a 10+!!

Thanks Dori!  He got her from Jill.  She's an Ali and will be going to Jr. Nationals.  She is turning out to be a super nice calf  with an ornery personality to meet his lol.

He has to show pee wee there.  He's only a clover bud.  He'll show anywhere Dee show's and mostly peewee.  He is showing open show at the MO State fair.  You coming to the big city of  Bethany for the fair?  Craig Morgan is coming this year.

I've been wanting to get down there to see that show. Do you have the dates set yet? I know that you guys are involved with the show. PPL have told me that I should look into vending that event, but just as soon as I want to cross that border, it's another new can of worms to deal with. Brent

It's Labor Day weekend.  My husband is on the fairboard and can help you if you want to vend it.  I'll have the margi's on at the camper! lol

CAB trust me you'll know its my camper!  You just don't know me well enough!  The partylights will be on!  Plus my hubby is the big 6'7" guy in the orange staff t-shirts lol

  Good to know. LOL.  Could you get hubby to change the dates of the show since he would seem to have pull? That's an important road trip weekend. Serious!!! LOL.
