With the acceptance of Galloways (especially Pericles) has anybody got pix of their Galloway or Belted Galloway mothered calves out of clubby-bred bulls?  (or vice-versa)

A couple years ago one guy bred some Belties to a Maine bull, wondered how he did.

I'll have a Belted calf out of a Hannibal cow in Aug or Sept.  Will post pix when he/she comes.

We have used this bull last year, pictured just this past weekend he is now a two year old purebred galloway bull.  I will post some calf pictures later in the week.  We have a couple very nice steer calves by heatwave and monoply dams.  We also have some heifers out of him that look very nice as well out of the same kind of mateings.  We really like the idea of useing this bull.  He has the right look mass and above all because hes purebred, STRUCTURAL SOUNDNESS.  and not just kind of sound really sound.  How many people will show you a mature pic of a clubby bull, not many.  TH and PHA free and polled, we are very excited to see what this guy is capable of on down the road

I have seen Pericles in person as well as sons and daughters out of him, i dont think i have seen a black PB galloway bull as complete as he is, and the calves out of him have more width and muscle shape then alot others i have seen.  I will be using pericles myself this year on a select group of cluby females

Love that white bull.  Is he the one that went to Canada last year?

Harley-  Fuzz looks like a good doin' kind of calf.  I really appreciate the back half of the calf.

I have a Hannibal cow that is bred to my Belted bull.  That calf should have some color and growth.
She had a JPJ steer calf last year that is about as thick as anything I have raised.  Surprisingly, the steer is not that tall.  Momma is pretty tall.    He is weighing about 1225 now. County fair is mid-July.  He's gonna be big.

Which bull you asking about ?  Pericles or Yukon?  The white Galloway got there base from white shorthorns X Black Galloway.
