We bought a Get It Done heifer last fall. She is out of MOssy oak cow. Tempermant wise she is a dream. Good hair. Nice depth of body. I will attach a picture when I get to my home  computer. SHe is moderately framed. She will make a good cow for us.

We have one coming out of this Heatwave cow we call Mara that is the dam of our Dirty Harry heifer.  I bet she is having a a big black and white bull, can't wait. She is due begining of April and is very big already. I think this picture was taken about a year ago, she is one stout girl.

What is everyone's opinion of him?  He does seem to be marketed very much?

Just found out that the Reserve Grand Commercial Heifer and 3rd Overall at Sioux Falls was a Get It Done x Major Impact/Simmy, and the Reserve Maine Steer at Kansans Beef Expo (behind the Supreme Grand Steer) was a Get It Done x Heat Wave.

have had good luck with get it done on mainly maine based cows and some clubbies. he throws really consistent and the calves are very saleable. one issue we've had is disposition on some of them. they aren't all bad, but we've had a few that are a handful. which kinda puzzles me because i was around the bull's mother ALOT and she is gentle as they come. and i've seen the bull up close and personal before and he's pretty layed back. who knows. the bull does work on a variety of cows tho.
