I've had some Gigolo Joe calves and really like them so far.  Easy coming, great to look at, and really have taken off.  I'm going to breed more to him

That picture is just the cutest it looks like it has a white little beard.

Very nice calf, I have not seen one Gigolo Joe calf I did not like.

I haven't seen a bad Joe calf yet either.

Here is my other Gigolo Joe heifer...she was born right before I left for Ohio.  My kids have named her Red maple after Cathy.  She's only about 1.5 days old in the picture.  Danielle took them so they aren't the best but she's one good rip

Another thing I just found out about Gigolo Joe is that sexed semen is availible from Nelsons

Have'nt seen many red calves from joe, actualyl those and a herf are the only ones i have seen that arent black

I will let you know after this weekend.  Trans Ova freezes two types of sexed semen.  Sexed for flushing and sexed for normal AI.  They are priced differently as the sperm count varies.

We decided that he is for sale.  We have had some interest in him.  We will have his EPD"s hopefully sometime this week.  If you are truly interested please email or PM me and I will talk to you.  That calf will have a killer set of numbers with the dam side  being NBJ Big Improvement and Mona Lisa.  He will be a numbers genius and I think that with his clubby look and appeal that he has a fab future.

The solid red calf is out of a fear this cow.  The other is from a Maine cross cow I bought from Goretsky's (I probably butchered this spelling).  Its funny these two cows were threatened by me to either give me something decent or they hit the sale barn.  Wow, I should do that more often lol.
