How are the Grandmaster calves looking this year. I would appreciate any updates available. I have bred a few and am curious to how they are coming along.

LOVE LOVE LOVE them.. Have seen quite a few. Stout, deep bodied, big boned...avg. to really good front ends. Would def. suggest him on cows that need power without sacrificing front end.

We have a blue roan(mostly black but with a roan hip, tail, belly, and head) bull calf out of a RadioActive x Dixie Chic heifer. He's only three weeks old, but is looking really good. Came at 88 pounds and is growing like a bad weed. Looks like he's going to have more hip and be deeper than his mama and she is no fluke. Really pleased so far with the amount of mass he is getting and with how his front looks like it is going to be. I would definately go back with GM on this cow again; especially if things keep going in the same direction with the calf.

Glad to hear he worked on a Radioactive because that is the sire of one of the cows I was thinking of using GM on.I also have a couple of appendix Shorthorns that have Meyer 734 on their sires side I may try Gm on. Thanks for the info.

I saw one PB at state show and she was awesome!!! She turned out on her front feet a little, but other than that I would've guessed she was a x-bred

Thanks for the replies. I have primarily bred him to Angus cows that need some power. I bred 1 to a crossbred needing depth. Anymore updates would be appreciated. It sounds like he is a sire we will be using more of in the future.

We were in the process of moving so I didn't get to A.I. anything this year, but I bought a bred hefier that's bred with GM heifer sexed semen. She's due to have a PB simmy this fall
