We made a trip to Iowa this past weekend to check out a heifer @ Justamom's.  It made for a great weekend as the whole family was able to go South of Desmoiines and spend time with an old friend and for our boys to meet theirs!  The only thing I didn't care for was My friend Caire made my youngest wear Hawkeye gear this weekend! LOL

Hope everything is good for Justamom!  Your heifer has found a good home! We hope to get her picked up soon!

Thought Id update ya all, the heifer was Champ Char at Burlington, and believe she did well at waterloo also,
Tony we think she is gonna be a good one, we are sooooo  excited for  you to start showing her,

She is a beautiful heifer. I wish you the best of luck, she'll make a good show heifer and she should produce some real nice offspring. Im curious, how much did you buy her for? I have a friend whos looking at buying a charolais heifer and she asked me if I could check around and make sure the heifer was worth the price. She said that the people are asking 1200, is that a good price? Im not sure of her breeding but from what I've seen shes has a nice spring of rib and a level top. Shes got depth and feminine looking but Im never quite sure when it comes to the real young heifers. I'll get a pic of her as soon as she sends it to me. All your help is apreciated.The sellers also said that they just weined her and that they would clip her for her. I'm usually good with charolais but I don't want to give her bad advice. help?

Like I said  before  your on the right track now an she is real nice , the Charolais deal is exploding , you go throught the Show Circuit now an it is not very hard to find a animal with Charolais in them an there will be some showing up soon that are black an have a 1/4 Charolais in them ....I do happen to know where there will be a few smokey heifers for sale before to long , might not be as good as that one but maybe will grow into it ..............Jamie

Little heifer , I'm guessing this one was fairly expensivel, her already winning a show and being show ready. Some of the hard work already done. Jmo
