YOU THOUGHT IT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN HERE!

WELL, HERE IT COMES!!!!

HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009
... this is Obama guncontrol by secrecy.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Very Important for you to be aware of a new bill HR 45 introduced into the House.
This is the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of  Sale  Act of 2009.
We just learned yesterday about this on the Peter Boyles radio program.
Even gun shop owners didn't know about this because it is flying under the radar..
To find out about this - go to any government website and type in HR 45 or Google HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009. You will get all the information.

Basically this "little" piece of legislation would make it illegal to own a firearm - any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:

.It is registered
..You are fingerprinted
.You supply a current Driver's License
.You supply your Social Security #
.You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing
.Each update - change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25
- Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail.

There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access provision. Guns must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18.

The Government would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 yrs... in prison.

If you think this is a joke - go to the website and take your pick of many options to read this..
http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h45/text

It is long and lengthy. But, more and more people are becoming aware of this. Pass the word along.

FAILURE TO DO SO AT YOUR PERIL!

Any hunters in your family - pass this along.

Peter Boyles is on this and having guests. Listen to him on KHOW 630 a.m. in the morning.

He suggests the best way to fight this is to tell all your friends about it and "spring into action".

Also he suggests we all join a pro-gun group like the Colorado Rifle Association, hunting associations, gun clubs JPFO (JEWS FOR THE PRESERVATION OF FIREARMS OWNERSHIP) and especially the GOA and NRA..

This is just a "termite" approach to complete confiscation of guns and disarming of our society to the point we have no defense - chip away a little here and there until the goal is accomplished before anyone realizes it.

YOU MAY NOT OWN OR EVEN LIKE GUNS, but if you LOVE FREEDOM, YOU better get involved NOW!!!

TOMORROW YOU MAY NOT HAVE AN OPTION.

This is one to act on whether you own a gun or not.

Hey

This part of it sounds GREAT.... this will keep the quacks away and about the " submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing "  This just means that if anything ever happens you will wavie your rights for a evaluation.  They are not going to evaluate you to find out if you should or shouldnt have one.

Just my 2 cents

.It is registered
.You are fingerprinted
.You supply a current Driver's License
.You supply your Social Security #
.You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing
.Each update - change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25
.Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail.

this is a typical ploy to offer things like this and get 5-10% of it enacted.  it's legislation slow motion.  you trick people into thinking they are compromising by removing stuff, knowing all along you just keep submitting bill after bill after bill.

it's really quite simple really, and is the best example i know that shows how nations eventually fail.

people just really can't imagine a tipping point.

but we have to keep voting democrat because of abortion is at risk, just ask the california democrats who screamed abortion was at risk in california over the budget if the state defaulted and the state has to rewrite the state constitution.

the democrats ploy is fear, just ask al gore.

NO NEW LAWS, then you don't need congress except in emergencies and they can work, say 30-60 days/year tops.

I bought my guns legally -- I am over 21, I am supposedly NOT insane, I care about my family and property -- ahhhhhhhhhh --

TCKMA

Most of you can go thru the alphabit and place the correct words for the above letters!

Obama and his gang are all invited DOWN my driveway, but the trip back UP may not be as easy.

I am so sick of regulators -- all in the name of peace and safety -- folks, when the guns are all supposedly gone, at least from the legal folks, guess what?? All the now HIDDEN guns will start to show up -- and they'll all be in the criminals hands!! If they ever tell me to turn my guns in -- my answer will simply be I sold them years ago to a pawn shop to stay off of welfare! Hah -- works for me!

Too bad Dumbama -- nice try!

This sounds eerily like the Long Gun Registry our Canadian government brought in a few years ago.  Now it has really become an expensive joke,  seemingly with the purpose of keeping big city dwellers and some government employees happy.  There were people in the capital the day it was passed publicly breaking the new "Law" were they arrested - no and to the best of my knowledge no one ever has been, nor have they ever confiscated a weapon.  Has it worked?  Not in the least,  the amount of unregistered rifles and shotguns around would make the uniformed heads spin.  Many were destroyed or turned in, even more have went into hiding - making criminals of otherwise law abiding citizens.
Canada has had a handgun registry for decades, but a long gun registry for less then ten years.  What are the most common weapons used to this day in violent crimes handguns and knives.  Seems as if the criminals do not care whether they use legal or illegal guns to commit crimes.  But many people I know are "criminals" for simply possessing a hunting rifle- that they use to hunt.  Our law enforcement has simply said they have enough criminals to deal with, they don't need to go looking to make them up from people who will never use their guns to commit a crime.
Remind your politicians if they take your weapons away the only ones that will still have them are the real criminals, who will be emboldened by that fact.  Just ask the Brits.  On the flip side the Swiss, you know the neutral ones, virtually every household has a gun - the result is one of the lowest gun crime rates in the world!

Well said cdncowboy
I have registered all my guns (rifles) and still enjoy hunting
I don't hear of any reduction in crime from illegal guns in the TO area since our Long Gun Registry came into effect
Cost taxpayers a lot of money

I was away from the computer pretty much all weekend and so yesterday i was catching up on the Steve McNair story on espn... i was reading one article and this part really ticked me off.... "Also look for Jesse Jackson's statement on the right of this page. It includes this: "Our community, our nation and the National Football League are haunted once again by the easy access to guns. We must stop the easy flow of guns. We must stop the bullets before the bullets stop us." " ..... NOW COME ON.... this had nothing to do with gun laws. This had to do with someone doing something he shouldnt have been doing and it turned ugly. The absolute LAST thing everyone should get from this story is gun control. Crap like this boils my blood.

it's simply a jobs bill.  creating crime is a jobs bill.  writing a jobs bill is a jobs bill.

mainstream america is too stupid to see it, they are worried about michael jackson and celebrity worship.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people. As far as something flying under the radar, the republicans are the masters of deceit. Always have been and always will be. I don't believe in gun laws or a hell of alot of other stupid laws.

I agree with you.  I think the people who voted him in will live to regret it.
