Gus calf with Mom

This is not my calf but I do watch the windmill for this group... there are Maine, Chi and Angus calves in this group and the Gus is my favorite...  .... The mom is the Blue Roan...owner says she has had some decent calves before but she really clicked with Gus.. she is an old show heifer and dog gentle

I am trying to move more into the  purebred Maine deal... is there a maine bull that will add rib and the overall Quality of a bull like  Gus... really struggling to get spring of rib,and soggy look with quality calves... any input would be appreciated
