Any one use this bull yet this should be his 2nd calf crop

I am a little leary of calving ease claims on non angus bulls, but he at least has calves on the ground

I really like the looks of him and an planning on using him on my Salution heifers

Use him on some really good structured cows, he is REALLY straight on those rear wheels.

Have you seen him,  I hate to go just by a good pic,  If anything my girls tend to be a notch sickle hocked.  I would love to know if anyone has seen him!

I did put a rack in the tank & am planning on using him on heifers. I have asked a lot of PPL about him. He does look a little strait in the rear wheels. I hope to see a few this spring. I'll post back up if I get out to see some.

I like the pic so well I want to breed all my heifers to him but I think I just may have to go check him out, see if Guyer has any babies, he should have some he is breeding on!

With the Mailman on the bttom & Grizz/Black Bear on top, his pedigree is interesting @ least. There are a lot of PPL watching this bull. I think that he could make some very classy females. Aftershock in a prettier package. I talked to the J&J part of the ownership last fall and he was out looking @ some calves @ that time and said that they looked good!!, of coarse.
Jill have you either seen him or any calves? Thanks, Brent

I just looked at his pedigree and now I am questioning his calving ease
The Hotmail bull is sire by Heatseeker!

Dang it I really want to use this bull on heifers but with Heatseeker that close in the pedigree I don't know if I can, I guess I will try him on some cows!

I don't believe there is any Heat Seeker in Grizzly, I believe only Mailman, simmy, and angus.

I really like the bull and am going to try him, but I am a little more nervous!and he has a low bw epd, just maybe not on all 40 heifers like I was wanting to.

No I haven't, I am basing it strictly off of the picture, he appears pretty posty, other than that he looks really good.

I saw him in Guyer's sale I think 2 years ago.. Didn't really stick in my mind..  Thought he was straight, coarse, and just another Simm type bull.  I remember he was super long and extended upfront.  Good in his lines, but maybe not quite deep enough....  Think he was thick though...  Had bone and feet under him too...  Don't know if I would call him a calving ease bull, thought he was aweful big headed and shouldered..

I saw him at the sale to and thought pretty much the same thing. He's thick enough but not overly thick, fairly straight, plenty of bone, long and clean fronted, not gonna use him but if you do use him on super sound cows with plenty of set to there legs and big soggy middled and no i would not use him on my heifers but thats just my opinion just not a good enough shoulder in him for me to suggest someone use on heifers.

Heifer finally calves last night. Moderate pull.  Calf weighted in the upper 80s. wasnt a hard pull till we got to the hips.  Some might have been the heifer though she is a pretty small one.
