We recently acquired some sun semen through a benefit auction. Was wondering what everyone's opinions are of this bull. What can I expect to see in his calves? What type of cows is he best suites for?

Have followed him some. He can throw some stout ones. Would look into what cow families or breeds he has worked best on. Green Valley Maines would be the place to start. ZNT Cattle has a very nice son out of a Maine with a touch of Chi X Angus. Nagel's also has some experience with him.

Suh works awesome on angus and simangus females. I would use him on a big bodied angus influenced cow.

I have a couple Suh cows and I like them, they are good mothers and have done well for me.  He adds power and performance in the calves I have had out of him, be careful on birthweight I have had some 100lbers.  Some people would say the cows are too big but I am ok with it.  Mine are purebred but I believe he would cross well on angus cows

We have recently bought a set of pb Maine cows Ai bred to Suh and exposed to a Suh son very impressed with the Suh son I seen in person when picking these cows. Very excited to calve these cows out and use the semen on my high percentage cows that could use the extra substance.

First calf today out of Suh 78# hefier calf born to a second calver special edition granddaughter. Unassisted vigorous up and about in an hour.
