Funny story about emu's.. 

short version

neighbor had some..  got loose..

seen corn in our fields that looked odd..  end rows were picked clean, ears standing straight up, husked like sweetcorn, not a kernal on sight..  thought to self.. deer would breaks stalk, turkeys couldn't reach that high, wouldn't peel in such a nice fashion..  though for self.. maybe i'm crazy.

october comes, bow deer season.. hunting.. 3 emu come under me..  if say closer than the 50 yards they were..  I'da ate me some emu..
