Has anyone shown under Judge Matt Claeys of Purdue University?

Matt Claeys of Purdue university is the judge for the State Fair of Virginia.  Was wondering if anyone had been at a show he was judging.  Is he a commercial heifer guy or a clubby heifer guy?  Any info is appreciated.

matt will like them extremely sound and  cowy.  plainer deep body types that can move, will do well.

      definately goes for the maternal side ,  big on the ability to move out with proper flex and soundness .    we  felt he was very consistent and only had us scratch our heads once out of 500 head.

I have given reasons to him many times. I definitely agree with all the maternal, cowy comments. He really likes functional cattle.
