Hauling horses on corrugated floor

About to buy a Wilson trailer with corrugated floor.  I was told not to haul horses in it, but to buy one with a flat floor.  The flat floor adds another $1000.00.  Is this true?

I wouldn't haul any horses without mats down with aluminum floor due to slick floor and shoes usually don't mix. So a flat floor would be helpful then.

The places that furnish uniforms to the john Deere dealerships and such will have the rugs that they pick up every week, the rugs work real well on the aluminum floors.

Bed your trailer with 6" of shavings and it won't matter.
