I'm picking up a couple of heifers for myself in Okla, hauling to Gulf Coast area.  I've had inquiries from other people to haul back a few animals so they wouldn't have to make the trip.  Would $ 100 a head be fair?

Thanks!

We typically pay $300-$400 per head to get cattle from CO to CA. Sometimes we get it a bit cheaper but typically thats what it runs us. Hope that helps.

I would agree that you would probably be looking at 300-400 per head. I just had one brought out from NE to CA and it was 350.
