Anyone know anything about millet hay. Can you use it for horses and cattle? Any info appreciated.

Millet hay can be very good BUT it should be tested for nitrates. High nitrate hay is hard on kidneys of horses ( can be fatal I understand )  for cattle certain classes of cattle can consume high nitrate. Pregnant cows are not included. I currently am feeding high nitrate feed to yearling calves.

It has been tested for nitrates and on protein etc....
