linnettejane I think some relief is coming your way. 95 here in central Ohio today going to be 80 tommorrow. Nice line of rain moving out of Indiana towards us. Lets hope it don't fizzle out! Been over 90 for 6 days in a row here. I don't know how you folks in the south do it. My hats off to you.  <beer>

Alot of rain and not enough sunny days but you sound like you would love to switch spots so i better not complain. It could be worse hope it rains for you.

We don't need any more rain in Iowa for awhile at least some of us. I wish i could send the rain down south. I went out and cleaned the lifestock trailer with a shovel today and i almost passed out because of the heat i can't stand the heat but i can't stand the cold either.

Had ice under the sprinklers.  Been hitting 75-80 for highs and 30-45 for lows.  Don't think I need a cooler.  <party>

We've been cooling down to about 91 at night in these parts, back up to 100's by lunch.  The new show heifers aren't even eating with fans and misters on them and spraying soybeans/peanuts is senseless after about 9 in the mornings.  We are starting to hurt for rain too so please do send it south  <chill>

I live in eastern NC, and its been bout 3 weeks since we've seen rain. Yesterday real temp was 110 at one point, and it hung around 104-106 all day, today was 101. We had to sell cows yesterday and they were worked at 11 at night to just try and keep things cool, then hauled at 3 in the morning if that shows how desperate we were. The beans down here are looking rough, but alot of corn is just plain shot unless its been irrigated. I saw alot of flue cured tobacco that is no taller today than it was a month ago and its looking pretty bad.
It rained a little tonight at my parents house near the Tn border but not enough to help.

Here in South Florida it has been hot as usual. High 90's- low 100's and 100% humitity!! This week we have had sooo much rain that our barn is a mud hole. Luckly today we stayed dry and hope it stays that way for a while.

70s and 80s here, with nuisance rainshowers.  Tough to hay, but not complaining grass and crops look good.

Lots of rain and storms over the last few weeks.    Crops look good around here although we have several million mosquitos per square foot of pasture.  I sprayed the fence lines tonight and I could hear the buggers arguing over who got the first bite!!  I must have lost a quart or two of blood while I was out there.  Treating all the cows tomorrow with fly and grub control--probably lose another quart or two while we're doing that.  We could use some brisk breezes instead of this sultry, still air we've had the last few days.

We are at 6000 feet on the Idaho Wyoming boarder.  It is nice this time of year.  When it is -40 for a week in the winter you can hear me whine.  When the cattle are on hay for 5-7 months we will cry.  But this time of year is darn near perfect.  ;D

Well, in Southern Ohio all last week it was extremely hot. I think the highest it got was 98. And felt like 100+. It was miserable, espically when one of our big fans stopped working, I was rinsing calves all day.
