Would a commercial Feedyard ever "hold" a steer?

How many feed yards worry about hair? IT is a show calf not a feed yard. Now GB, you know we have been down this road many times. There is nothing practical about show steers. NOt too many feed yards want to feed a steer til they are 20 months old either.

never hurts to put a little pressure on a market ideal, especially as times are a changing, now seems a good a time as any to change and include types that are for different markets.  still, chambero's posts on contests where he's from are pretty impressive.
