help?

i have an April heifer calf that has oval shaped bumps on it that peel off with hair and some skin but they don't bleed any when they are peeled off. what could this be?

they also peel off easy and it doesnt bother the calf any when they are peeled off

Green horn flies?  They did a number on our lambs ears this year and it did the same as your describing

the bites are mostly on the legs between the hoof and knees
