Just my opinion off of one photo:
I would like to see a little more muscle and bone on her, she appears to be a little tight in the heart girth as well, not sure about the way her neck and shoulder meet, that could just be the hair. I think her legs and feet look correct and she may grow into a nice heifer.

I would worm her and feed her pretty heavy and see how she grows

It looks to me like she has a lot of potential. She's marked right and appears to be sound which is important because those are the things that you can't change. She is certainly young and very green but if you get her on a good developing ration right away and give yourself a bit of time before your first show I think you'll be happy with the results. Good luck and don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it!

Thanks for the info. I have just owned her now for five days and have her on about six pound a day she seems to be handling that just fine probably bump her up to eight pounds in a couple weeks.

There you  go-you did the basics and she responded-for her second calf-although I am not an expert-I think Larissa would be a good second opinion-her cattle are Canadian so they are gonna be more stout from the start-but that female is pretty enough that the right think out of the box Hereford might really hit a lick O0

I think you've done a really good job developing your heifer.

Thanks for thinking of me Mark! Is she bred yet? Lately we haven't been doing enough AI'ing for me to reccomend a specific bull but aside from being heifer safe you'll want something that'll add some belly and fleshing ability. Some might think she's a bit heavy fronted but the way I see it she's a Hereford presented in "real world" conditions so I wouldn't expect much different. That being said if you could find a bull that meets the above criteria and will clean up her throat a bit then that's a bonus! Good luck with her, I think she'll make a nice cow for you.

Thanks everyone. I planned on using the Churchill Manhattan bull on her. I think he will do a lot of what you suggested. If their are any other Bulls I should try for her fist calve let me know I will probably breed her next month. Thanks

If you're wanting a heifer calf, ABS has sexed heifer semen on a bull named Juice Box.

HH Perfect Timing is a CE bull. NJW Hometown is another good one.

Best of luck wit her!

A couple more options to go with, I personally like Mr. Custom Made. He looks like he should make great females. Another to look at is Good And Plenty.
