Earlier this week the cemetery, where my parents have been laid to rest, was hit by vandals. There were 168 head stones knocked over. To desecrate a cemetery and the grave sites like this has to be one of the highest forms of disrespect that I can think of. Luckily my parents’ stone was not touched, but my great uncle and aunts stones were knocked over.
I would suspect that the individual or individuals responsible for this action were never taught any form of respect or responsibility. They probably are not or were never involved in activities like those discussed on this board that teach young people these characteristics.
When those responsible are caught or if they are caught, I am not sure what an appropriate punishment would be. Sorry for the rant, but I needed to vent some of my frustration because I see way to much of this type of activity occurring in to days society.
I am posting the link to one of the news stories on it.
