The one incident win the KSU-NU game where polognini yelled at the quarterback when they didn't convert the first down. I didn't understand it. The qb wasn't benched. He didn't throw an interception. T|he cameras caught it cause they know the coach is a hot head. When the woman asked him about the incicdent he mumbled something abot dropping coverage. and we will be alright. Looked like to me he just lost it. I was kinda embarrassed for him. It just seems like he is always one punch away from from being arrested. I know that football is a violent game and there are things said and done in locker rooms that could be illegal on main street. I realize there are fights in practice even at a high school level. I just cringe when he loses it. It is kinda intertaining I guess but can bo recruit? Parents see his out bursts on national tv. I think the ad AD and coach relationship with Osbourne is interesting. You just hope someone doesn't get assulted and bo gets in trouble like the Mangino accussations. I thought |Suh was back for one more year. I assume the sucicide rate in Nebraska will level off with them winning the North. It is a intesting mix.
I think you need to worry about coaching problems and future coaches in your owne state, son, Nebraska and Pelini will survive and take care of business.  You know nothing of nebraska football

Question for you, Will Bill leave your program in good hands this time?  I really hope K-State can stay respectable for years and make it a RESPECTED battle for the  North every year!  Snyder has been well known for developing assistants that went on to do great things, yet the program went on a whim and hired an unknown disaster in Prince!

Don't know anything about the ast. coaches he has now!  Does he have the mindset of developing someone to take the program over?  With the disasters of Kansas and CU, that leaves ISU, KSU and Nebraska to keep the North respectable!  Who on the staff looks to be HC material?  Will Bill stay for a few years?  I heard rumors that it may not be much more than this year!  Will your AD name a HC in waiting like Texas has done?

Tony

Bill didn't have much of a choice who he left the team to last time, the NCAA was pushing so hard for us to have a back coach, and with him being from 15 miles down the road it was a logical decision.  This time Snyder has said that he will have more of a influence on who becomes the next coach.  I believe that the next HC is already on the staff right now, just dont know who yet.  Also Snyder has said that he will leave when he believes he can hand a team over to the next HC that he believes can win.

Hopefully nebraska don't look past colorado, a loss to them and texas and a tough bowl loss puts a different taste in people's mouth for the off season..  Not like staying home from a bowl of course, ah hem, but still....

I have Nebraska at 6 and 6 this year. I'm just saying that whenever K-State beats them or they have a bad year....its never Nebraska fault. Its always the referees fault or the full moons fault or whatever. K-State beat Nebraska 2 out of three years not long ago and K-State was never given credit. Nebraska will not be a perenial powerhouse any more. There is to much parity, more balanced scholorship programs and what not. How superior will Nebraska fans be if they get beat 50 to 10 by OU. KU beats them 40 to 30. And the lowly K-State beats them 21 to 20 in Lincoln? I just think that bologne is a loser and I delight in the fact. K-Stae will never be respected by Nebraska fans...I get that part...but where are you coming from rancher?

AJ, I have no problem talking tasteful about football with any other fans!  When I am wrong I will eat the crow that is served!  Grow up and dive in and enjoy the meal!  From the post above, it looks like you have 3 huge servings to devour!  Enjoy the off season!

OK...not sure what I'm eating crow about. I'm a bad predictor. I think polini is a bad fit for Nebraska. I don't he is up to their standards. Not sure what his contract is? Is suh coming back? Everybody is aware of polinis antics from espn to knowledgeable Nebraska fans. I guess I was making observations and apparently it is not allowed to question anything about |Husker football. That donesn't taste to bad. I guess Polini is a winner cause he he went over 500%. He is such a horrible icon on the sideline. Getting ones adrenaline up is part of the game. Butkus did it. Landry said Butkus didn't take a shower....he just laid in front of his locker and licked himself. I guess rightly or wrongly thats how I view pologne. ok....I Polieve in Bologne. I apologize for giving my opinion.

AJ, Dude....Pelini's fine.  He's got fire!  The recruits' parents think highly of him because he is real!  Our whole staff is real....you gotta love Ekeler bouncing around on the sidelines.

Bo does wear his emotions on his sleeve, but he'll temper that with time....He's still in the beginning stages of the head coaches learning curve.

Bo and brother Carl sure can "coach them up."  Gotta love the D....Basically have shut down everyone all year...except for TTu.  If we can get the offense rolling, look out!  Going from the Callahan disaster to right near the top of the country in defense is remarkable in 2 years....and realize, bo and carl have them at 2 or 3 in the most important defensive category....points allowed....wow.

Suh....eligibility exhausted at the end of this season...I think you asked if he'd be back a couple different times.

As a final look back, KSU did impress me.  Second-best team we played in conference play this year.  If they get a better QB, they will be interesting.  Wish we had their running back.

don't think we need their running back. Burkehead has promise. I like how Bo gets intense, just like Sadler does for the basket ball team. a little fire is good for excitement

Burkhead has promise, I agree....and I like Helu and Robinson....but that dude's smooth and tough.  Never hurts to have another good one.

As a kid I liked a couple Nebraska lineman. A guy called Remington(c) and a defensive lineman named Glover I think. It was the 70's for glover. My hero was Leroy Selmon.....he was the first and the best nose tackle for going sideline to sideline. I also liked Berringer to cause he was a local kid that dated the neighbors daughter. Note Selmon played for OU and is in the pro football hall of fame. I just don't see how bo can coach with head ready to explode all the time. Osborne was more of an intellect. |Bo may get better. I think assistants really make the difference. I think this is where Snyder excells. He manages people. |It is damn hard to recruit at KU and KSU. You kinda have to pick overachievers to get the jog done.

Remmington is a good possibility! My money would be on Trev Alberts! Seems to be doing a great job at UNO! Good with fundraising and strong ties to TO!

JBW....

they beat themselves; the clones didn't beat them.

8 turnovers....8

They don't drop the ball 4 times inside the 5 and it's a blowout.....
