How cold is it??

It was 26 below here this morning and it got me thinking about all the "Its so cold, that ..." statements I've heard over the years.  We used to have a local radio announcer who would say " Its so cold the dairy farmers are using pliers to milk their cows this morning!!"  On the political side a friend told me yesterday " It's so cold the Politicians have their hands in their own pockets!!"  What's the best one you've ever heard??

We got down into the 40's last night and we are staying in the 60's during the day. I know for most of you thats warm but for us we are FREEZING!!!

Not suppose to see positive double digits for about 7-8 days. Negatives and lower at night. Thank goddness my water heaters are working and my silo has finally agreed to cooperate!

It was -9 here this morning and the local radio station stated that it was -34 degrees without a wind chill factored in @ Fargo, Nd. this morning.Grant feel free to keep your Canadian high pressure up in Canada.

right now here at Augusta, MT, we have 42F above.  Warm weather is coming.  it's not a full blown Chinook, but it's nice.  A gentleman from Chinook, MT (east of Havre on Highway 2) told me he had - 6 F this morning. althought the front we have here is relatively stationary, those of you who have had it cold are probably in for some warmer weather.

Its so cold people are deliberately catching the flu just to stay warm.  It was -23 here as well.  The cows don't seem to care though.

We had our open house today and this morning when i did chores it was -37 below with about a 10mph wind.  NOT FUN
