How do I get the opportunity to travel and do farm visits and semen sales?

I am just curious because this is something I have wanted to do for the past couple years...but how do I apply for a "job" like this? Who would I talk to..to apply for this job? With out doing it through my own "business?" because, I do not do semen sales here..

Any help?

Contact the major studs like ABS and Genex.  They do use independent contractors to market their semen.  You should develop a resume that stresses your experience, education and skills related to cattle and cattle breeding.  Good luck!

Yes you do as suggested above. But you probably don't want the overhead cost (having to buy the semen at cost). And you have kinda missed the boat for this spring selling season. I would contact one of the Lautners, Rodgers, or CEG and see if you could get an internship with them selling semen! That way you have a customer list to go off of and your not cold calling. Selling semen is tough if your not backed with a BIG NAME
