Obscene amounts.....$150/ton on good alfalfa delivered. :mad:

I should add that those prices I put up are not delivered prices. You have to be $5 or $6 per loaded mile to have it delivered yet.

We have alot of grass have for sale in central IL. I just bought 50 1000# round bales of 08 hay and gave $16.00/ bale. ( I did not need it but I can't bale it for that!)

4x6 Round bales of coastal are 80 bucks a piece in Texas! I sure am glad we made enough in 07 to hold us till now!

High quality green coastal 9.00 a bale here, we are the cheapest around..you can find pasture grade hay for cheaper in the right places. Round bales are 80. alfalfa is 16.00..thats some exspencive grass!!

Where are ya"ll at? I feel the pain as we had a bad drought the past 2 years and hay prices soared. I do know of a couple of suppliers though that are cheaper if anyone needs help.
