I've got a 13 year old Augusta cow that just weaned what I think is my best 2014 born bull calf. He's going to stay here a while. Unfortunately I've only got 2 daughters in the herd. I used another son of her's a little bit and have 10 outstanding daughters of him. The old girl will calve next spring to Zulu. Good luck prying that calf away from me if it's a heifer.
I unfortunately haven't got any other females out of old Julie aside from the 2 mentioned. She has had mostly bull calves and daughters have been sold as sale features (not bright of me!) Would love to see pictures of your bull calf!
