Right around the 73 degree mark here in NW MO....hated to come in after checking the cows.  Calves looked so comfy lying in the sun, almost tempted to join them (if the corgis would leave me alone long enough lol) (dog)

Since Saturday we've been between 40 and 50. All our snow is melting off right now and making mini-lakes in all the corrals. I went out to feed this morning and our herd bulls had a lake in their corral. Their bale feeder was sitting right in the middle on an island. Now we just need to get rid of the water!

The wheat here in kansas has come out of dormancy way to early and we are setting ourselves up for a winter kill or May freezeout if we are not carefull. Oh yes dry also.

It's been hot and very dry. High 80's but tonight we are getting a little rain. The first time in a long time so I hope it keeps raining!!!

You all are making me sick We are struggling to get above freezing here and we have snow banks everywhere. We should be having some good melts by now. It is making for a very long winter!

We have finally had a few days of melting here but we are still white everywhere. Had a couple of days in the mid 40s. It has been in the mid 20s the last two days so everything froze up again. This is much better than the -40s we were experiencing just over a week ago. I always find it amazing how a couple of nice days makes the terrible weather seem like it was a long time ago, when it really was only a few days.

Nothing but garbage weather here!  Raining in the low 40's for several days.  Can't wait for it to warm up and give the grass a chance to grow!

Yup, Stihlpro is correct.  It's been raining and mid 30's to low 40's and standing water. And wouldn't you know, we had our first 2009 calf on Monday while it was cold and rainy. Had to get her in and dry before she got too chilled.  I wouldn't mind some of that 70 and sunny weather right now...
