Thought you might like to see this I-80 bull calf, I've heard "mixed" reports on this bull, but we really like the calf. JB  AVCC

How old is he and what kind of cow is he out of? We had two out of 1st time calvers and are extremely happy with them both. Have a couple coming this fall out of some heifer so we're looking forward to the ones coming in August. :) This is a very nice looking calf. Hope he does well for ya!

I've been wondering about this one - I saw him when he was just a couple of days old, and he was pretty impressive then.  Looks like he's coming along really well.

born unassisted on a snowy day in Feb, BUT would not recommend him for heifers, 86 lb. BW. Not saying he wouldn't work, BUT do not recommend such, w/ BW's outside of 70's. JB

It would really depend on the heifer's breeding and her size, etc. The first one was a out of a JPJ X Yahtzee heifer. She is a big girl 1300-1400#; the calf was about 90 pounds, easy pull, 4 days late. The other was out of a Milkman heifer (moderate framed heifer about 1200#) Her bull calf was maybe 70-75# born unassisted, 5 days late. I will tell you that we will be breeding him to some heifers again.
