Gargan found these-They  are from a semen-embryo deal in Brazil On the site are very young calf pics from the Shorthorn and they were real good and clearly came very easily Judging from some of the cows they are also a vast improvement To view them go to the link below and hit touros (bulls) go to the right (starts with an angus) drop down click Shorthorn then scroll down to the calf pictures I seriously doubt there are years of linebred Solution monster calf  genetics running through this bull-or any for that matter I know a shorthorn bull from Agentina is here-sorry he is nowhere near the caliber of this bull JMO-related or not  That Angus is way impressive to me too Wish I could see him with all bling removed I am no Angus expert-But maybe 15 or more years ago I rode with my buddies(lawrence Grathwohl and Mark Mueller) in Hiawatha Ks We went to see Brady  Chadwells Angus heifer sired by BEB Juneau-best one I ever saw She had  feet and legs and level topline (hooks to tailhead) and balanced stoutness similar to this bull  This type is what I thought Juneau would produce O0

Yea boy i sure wish we could get some of that up here They developed them from belt buckle Scotch cattle they pretty we;ll check the boxesJMO AND when you also look at the calves which dont just show the top three doners in the country=My hats off to that Thats realistic results
from a real cross section not all the cows represented are high quality and a good proportion are in pretty rough conditions Aint that Horn bulls dam a looker though O0

Bottom line-That Angus may have some US blood-And if there were a full sib to his dam -HED SURE BE USEFULL IN THE US I like him as well or better as anything ive seen up here -The only Angus Ive seen that stout recently were SOO-LINE ANGUS-and Simms too Dont know about BWS on them though There was another Canadian breeder on here who had real quality  chunky massive Angus pretty similar from the feet up-that I think were US combo bred lost track of him.I thought the really good Red bull pictured (Linebred Tribune on those way stout moderate outcross cattle) was related to Hector-whatever-This bull will make two of him in alot of respects Everyone is entitled to thier opinion thats mine O0 O0

His sire would be the one to get semen imported.  Alson polar prince is great.  He is in ARG Hector  pedigree and for that it makes hector intriguing.  Easiest way to access these outcross genetics.  I think JSF has a hector son coming out in OKC

First one is Jungles Hector son on their Durhams-Dakotas Sale coming up and who will be at Oklahoma City-Hes out of a North Dakota State orange blossom one of the top families developed there over 100 plus years The other two are Hector last year or so-Terrible renditions I had to do this quick-If you have Jungels catalog-The Jungles bull is a marked improvement over Hector in terms of the pictures- and looks very good considering  but has the same weird head almost looks a little fleckviegh-Again JMO Hector just isnt in the same league or shall we call it type of the bull pictured from the semen embryo distributor in Brazil and winning in what looks like the  Argentina national show or something  Probably not available-Id use the jungles bull hands down O0

HI Mark. The roan bull is called Alston Gordon Highlander. Sired by Alton Polar Star, that is the Hector's bull sire. Polar Star is a very popular bull in Argentina today, many sons and daughters are show winners there. Polar Star is sired by Mearns Topador, also a Palermo champion very popular. Topador is a medium to small framed red bull, very useful to be mated with big narrow american cows. Used him on this cattle shaped. Polar Star have on her pedigree Sebant Ttleist (by Sutherland Titleist), Inca Sophy Pilot Tribune (by Tribune 82), Maria Lucia Jumbo 8192 (by Anwick Karl a Lincoln Red bull from 70's), Jumbo was a widely used bull in Argentina too. I own two sons and two daughters him. Also Forthill Fausto, a TNT Fastrak son out a strongly Lincoln Red genetics on dam side.
Gordon Highlander is a linebreeding, as the dam side is by Topador, Fausto and Tribune. The inbreeding rate is 15.6%

I saw some very good calves sired by Gordon Highlander, he adds muscle and long loins. Some deep in ribs. Like him. This year I have a heifer calf by him. The heifer is sired by Giordon Highlander out of a cow by Kinnaber Leader 9th x Mandalong Super Flag x HS Instant Enticer.
