I need help determining cause of death

Some mid eastern people will take the blood and use it in numerous food related dishes... and a good goat is their meat of choice. This is a weird set of circumstances, but something smells... and it ain't the pile of guts!

if you gutted an animal cleanly, the only blood would be found in the vicinity of the guts. a goat that size was probably carried out belly up and not spilling any more blood from the belly. when blood dries on grass, it turns sort of brown

I am kinda with Justin time on this i know a couple of guys around here that sell goats in St Louis just for religous purposes of the muslims dont know the particulars of it buit hey say there is no blood when they perform there religous sacrifice

who or whatever did it...i would definitely notify the police....because if it is a who(as in person) they might be less likely to do it again if they know you are going to get the law involved...

At this point I'd focus more on keeping the ones left than finding the one taken.  They may be planning a return visit.
