Dealt with a I-80 and couple Jesse James this year.
I-80: Heifer bought this past fall that I really like and have very high hopes for down the road. Smooth, clean necked, and deep/square flanked. She is out of an Carnac/Full Flush cow. I think he needs used on deeper females but I think the I80's will do very good things as mommas.
Jesse James: Have one steer that turned out great out of a My Turn heifer. Thick, hairy, sound. Also had a heifer that didn't turn out and headed to the sale barn.

I'm thinking there are opinions out there....  All 3 are a lautner family bull...

I saw my 2 i80s lose their fancy front some as they aged...  didn't have a i67 or JJ..

Who else will share?

Had a couple I-67's, been around a few more.  IMO, the really good one's are out of smaller framed cows with big middles and long necks.  He will power one up, but they seem to tend toward bigger framed calves with shorter, plainer necks. 

Had our first I-80 this week.  He's out of a Monopoly daughter, and just what I expected - doesn't look especially stout right now, but nice boned and all the right pieces if he grows into them.  Didn't get him weighed, but I'd say he's in the low eighties.  Have some friends that have an I-80 son that's doing great things on low % MA/Angus cows.

I don't have any experience with Jesse James.

I dont have any experience with I-80 or Jesse James but we kept an I-67 heifer that was born last March. We originally put her in our fall sale but she started cycling right before picture day. We put all the calves that were going in the sale including some bull calves. We had to move the heifer in the keeper pen because the bulls were trying to ride her. Well the heifers in the keeper pen rode her all night and rubbed out her tail hair and she looked empty. Long story short, she didnt get any interest. She looks great now. She also cycles like clock work every 21 days. We call her fertile merdle. Sorry I got off on a tangent. We like I-67 and will use him again.

I have no experience with JJ or I-67.  I do have 3 I-80's this year and I'm impressed with the quality out of heifers, lots of bone and growing stouter by the day.  I think cows/heifers with some belly and hind leg set would work best.  BW 67-82 lbs, all the calves are PB maines.

Don't count out Breathe Easy. I have only had one but I would put her up against my I-80's any day. Worked good on who made who heifer.

You got to love the genetics for making replacements and will breed up nice.

This is a prime example of who he won't work on IMO- I think your heifer is a little too straight and while she has great body length, the depth really isn't there.

What do you suggest? I agree she may be a little straight but in person the body depth is there. She is a Lock N Load daughter

Personally I think No Worries will give you the best calf out of that baldy heifer. Should be chromed up as a bonus. He will definitely add guts to her also.
