IA Maine show update

Just spoke to Gidget & Mucho was reserve champion bull!
I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to watch sale (2:30 CT today) because to a bad windstorm last night our power was knocked out & the internet service was down.

Hey I got to meet Gidget and the hubby today!! Nice Folks!!  Congratulations  Funks and Mucho Dinero!!!

Mucho Dinero was Reserve Champion Maine bull and brought $4400 in the sale. 

The Champion bull was BSC Big Money Bob from Braun Show Cattle. He went for $4,000.   

Both these bull are Money Man sons and interestingly enough the Missouri bull ended up in NE Iowa and the North Iowa bull ended up in Missouri.    Both a very good bulls and I'm proud to say I know both the exhibitors now---Kevin Braun and I have spent more time looking at cattle together the last ten years than most kids have spent with their fathers.  Kevin's a good young man who absolutely loves cattle and works hard at the business--- I'm proud of his success!!  I'm also proud of the success of my new friends at Funk Show Cattle.  Good job to both parties!!

Knabe--you're close--Braun's bought the K&A Unitas bull in Denver and he is on display this week at the Iowa Expo.  He looks really good and semen interest in him seems to be running really strong.

No the champion was another Money Man bull.  Unitius wasn't there.  K & A's bull they had there stood 2nd to us

K & A Unitas is at the Iowa Beef Expo---He's in the display bull aisle.  He was not part of the show and subsequent sale but Braun's do have him in the aisle with the display bulls.  What might be confusing everyone is that Braun's also had the Champion Bull.  His name is BSC Big Money Bob(Lot 8) and he is out of Money Man.
