Think they didn't bring monopoly 5 out because it would have been just another clone. Red white and roan I'm not sure why he wasn't out there. Kinda was hoping to see him I was intrigued by the look of his picture as well. Seemed he could be used on some flatter made shorthorn cows and get powerful yet flashy calves.

I saw royal blend. He was good but not 25K for a quarter of him good. Italian Stallion was by far the best bull there in my opinion awesome fronted not bad in his shoulder and most importantly out of a great donor cow. For being a MAB I thought he was very good shouldered and correct and like I say I will breed to him because of predictability of his momma. I don't know why anyone thinks General Lee is a wreck Structurally he points north and south on all four feet and I watched him walk in two days and he didn't miss a step plus he is a two year old a lot of range bulls step short when they get to be that big.

I though he was straight in his hock and pastern, and little over on his knees. But if he covered his tracks I don't have a problem with that. There's plenty of narrow cows to use him on.

The video of general lee looked really bad. He really liked to swing those back legs out on every stride. Can't have that...

Any non clubby bull reports?

Which ones you interested in hearing about?

lowline angus
conventional horned hereford
any colored cattle (ie original color pattern), ie piedmontaise, pinzgauer, fleckvieh,
non-show pedigree angus

in other words, does anyone still use denver to advertise their breed or is it degenerating into just show cattle.

years ago at the grand national in san francisco, all sorts of breeds of all sorts of farm animals would bring their animals for display only, ie there was no show for them.  the grand national use to have a very diverse audience, now it's literally only show people including horses and the show is almost dead and in my opinion, worthless.

as mentioned before, they should do a little market outreach or something to get regular people to attend.  to me, it would probably de-emphasize all the "real estate" necessary to put hairspray on cattle and increase the real estate for products to sell to the public.  shows that only serve themselves are playing to a smaller and smaller audience.

My favorite by far was Good As Gold, I just think he was flat awesome. I did not like how his sheath stuck down but that is being very picky. I liked Top Gun also. The MAB clones were nice but I have been a fan of MAB since seeing his calves.

It looked like Boss Premeire Black Cattle has another good set of Angus bulls going.

Did Green Valley Cattle have a pen of cattle there?  Denver has usually been the place to see the great new sires that Dennis is coming out with.
