Is there a good 50% Shorthorn-50% plus bull out there.

Loving's raise some. Is there anybody else? Is nobody doing black Shorthorns? And I'm not talking black plus genetic defect carrier trash genetics. I talking registered on both sides.

I meant 50% Angus-50% Shorthorn. The ABS bull.......I think he is Boulder........50% Angus and 50% Simmental. He is supposed to be a great one.

Look at AF Blue Moon. He is an I-80 son out of a Mirage cow. But he is free on all 3. J3 in New Mexico owns him. Sells the calves straight off the cow for show steers.

MMA MAINE GUS -amaa #509831. A 3/4 Maine Angus who can be registered as a 3/8 Shorthorn. No semen collected but if you buy enough I will get it done. He is in the bull pen waiting to be turned out with my Angus and black Maine cows.

Sull Ferrari is 50% Silvieras style purebred Angus on top-Dam is a purebred crystal daughter by Right Direction : His pedigree- AR4241357 I like the above bull way better than any Shorthorn Black angus cross ive seen-Most Maines: or the right variations there of  change Shorthorns first generation Black AngusxShorthorn are hit and miss from what ive seen O0

All I know is I see a small herd of Shorthorns in a pasture across the road from.Spring Lake Angus. They specialize in Rito 707 and sons. Some Shoshone Emulous oriented Angus herds are importing Luing bulls from Canada. Beebe us bringing one in. These guys are all improving Grassfed carcass. We know Shorthorn does this.

As with all good things, there are no real shortcuts. I think would have to grow your own with some good Angus genetics and the best of your own Shorthorn.Everyone has their own ideas about what a good bull is, so just start with a good Shorthorn cow.and try not to go backwards.

I have a 50% Shorthorn-50% Red Angus bull that is cool I think. In theory we may take 5 sons, 5 daughters and 3 steers to the yards if they have a national stock show in Denver. They won't be big enough for most people though.

They won't be big enough for most people though.//// I think I  saw a picture of that bull I -maybe 2 or 3 years ago he was good and thicker than a Red Angus JMO-The association really screwed alot of people on the Durham Red deal -In 2005 or so The guy from Ohio that promoted Double Down: Regan Bowman  had a BARNBURNER of a young Red AngusxShorthorn bull at Louisville he got so disgusted with the lack of support and basically-the Disappearance of the program he bred all his Shorthorns out with black cattle O0
