Brad hasn't been on to much lately and haven't seen any new videos.  I guess we can be expecting a really long on now. :)

He doesn't need to have a life. He needs to be talking cattle on steer planet!
:)
(I suppose his family may disagree)

AMEN!!!

We're nearing 12 inches of rain in the last 10-12 days.......including little over an inch today!  NOT ONE stitch of hay mowed.....Dad tried and it's still laying there a week later!

I have been getting several embryos put in, and that has went extremely well.

Got some great family time in at the World Pork Expo last week.  The kids took a couple hogs each and "Participated"......we still have a LOT to LEARN......but that's the place to learn it....1742 head of pigs, from 27 states and over 600 exhibitors......ALL of which are REALLY, REALLY GOOD!  The kids love their pigs and actually do pretty good when they're not up against the pro's! I filmed a little bit up there....we'll see if I can show you what I mean.

I've had several calf video's start coming in to edit....looks like there's gonna be some nice ones sell this fall.

ZAK.....thanks for making sure I'm still alive!  Later, Hook.

I wondered how your kids had fared up there at WPX. The boy who we couldn't get around in the county barrow show last summer won the cross gilts up there, so maybe they haven't been paying attention to their fair pigs ;)

Well that was one smokin' good gilt.....out of Kilmer's Landshark boar.....and that kid is one heck of a showman.  I bet you're right.....his other pigs have probably been COMPLETELY ignored! <rock>

Yes, there was a big article on the front page of the local paper about all he won out there. Had like 3 big banners and a showmanship trophy for the 2nd year in a row I believe. They really know their stuff, and we both had 270 lbs barrows at the county last year. There were something like 600 head of barrows at the county last year and he won the open and junior shows with two different pigs. Won the market gilts too. I told you our county was kinda tough. We are hoping the pigs are just a step toward steers because it is a little easier and I at least kinda know what I'm doing. You should post those pics of your black cross barrows and brag a little
