Any info on this bull? Anybody have calves or seen him? I know he's not real popular but hear he's had some good ones in certain parts of the country. Thanks.

I really like him. He's definitely got a place in the simmi world. He's not a fix all but can sure make some nice, well built calves. I saw some calves of his last fall, nice, uniform, decent fronted and sound calves, saw some more this spring that were eye catchers as well. Most of them have a blaze face at least. Some of his heifer calves have been showing really well. Bobby May sold one on his sale last fall that looked dang good. I used a Make It Rain son last fall to clean up my summer/early fall calving Angus cows, can't wait to see the calves.

There was one at Nationals this year, a pair (a calf by him). The cow placed second overall, here is a pic of her and the K Ler calf http://www.pearlspics.com/photocart/index.php?do=photocart&viewImage=243972
Here is a pic of the Make It Rain calf http://www.pearlspics.com/photocart/index.php?do=photocart&viewImage=244658. I do not have the class schedule in front of me, but I am 80 % sure the calf was out of Make It Rain, because I remember looking at her and thinking, "wow"! She was really nice. Once again, hard to judge a bull by one calf, but that one looked good!!!

Thanks for the pics, she looks good. Any idea on what type of cow he works best on, or his strengths/weaknesses? I'm considering flushing to him this summer. My donor is plenty small framed and would like to add some extension and growth to her. She has tons of guts so that's not an issue. She's a halfblood simangus if that helps.

I have a low % simmy as a show heifer this year. She is out of K-LER Make It Rain and a Comm. Angus cow. She is a really nice heifer also. I would recommend using this bull.

the ones i have seen seem pretty nice fronted, can be kinda small but usually real functional, i haven't looked at his EPD's lately but have been told works on heifers and will throw a blaze face on the right cow.
also call Seth Kaehler, he'd know where to use him

Noticed that his new EPD's show a 3.2 bw now. I always heard he was hfr safe, someone must have had a few big ones to have raised his epds that much. Any input?

I noticed the same thing.    CE must have dropped when 2013 calves were registered.  Made me nervous as we had an In Dew Time heifer bred to him.  Ended up calving fine with a 78 pound heifer calf.  The in dew time heifer herself was small at birth, so that played in our favor.  Only a few days old, but looks good so far.
Have a bull calf out a Sweet Meat cow, and that calf was pretty good size out a bigger cow.  He looks to be pretty decent.  Good bone and good fronted.
Stinks his CE went down though as his growth is below average as well.  He still has a place as an outcross, but this will limit some use.
Kaehlers good heifer was out of a dream on cow.
