Kansas City Hereford show

Had an excellent time at the Hereford show last weekend.  I thought the Mullinix's did a great job.  Loved Carol Neon.  I wish Nitro would have been walking that day, thought he looked great, and you could tell Randy really wanted to use him. 

But the highlight was definitely seeing my mom receiving her bronze bull for winning Southwest Region Polled Hereford Show Bull of the Year.  ;D (clapping)

How did the sale go? I wanted to watch in on LiveAuctions but completely forgot.

Sale went well.  Top heifer was $23K, 2nd high heifer was $19K, another heifer at $17K.  There were some heifers that probably sold for less than what they were worth, but the vast majority brought more than what they were worth IMHO.  The market on top end Hereford heifers is crazy right now - $35K heifer at MSU today.

How did the sale go? I wanted to watch in on LiveAuctions but completely forgot.

The calves look good, lots of extension through their fronts, up headed, and big square hips.  There are pictures of three of his sons on the For Sale page.

We didn't go to the sale.  How did Four L's heifer sell?
