So I went looking for more information on a couple of the heifers that were in the supreme ring at the KSF. And when I googled "Kansas State Fair Red Angus" the results came back with a very interesting SP connection.

Champion was a heatwave raised by Hellbusch and sold by Wade Rogers, reserve was a monopoly sold by Jared Arthur and not sure who raised him.

If you are looking for information on the Red Angus Heifer she is owned by Nathan Lanier. She was raised by JK Cattle LaCygne and is a Mulberry. She was Res Calf Champion at NAILE and 2nd in class to Res Champion at NWSS (also raised by JK) She has had a very successful run all year. Congrats to the Lanier Family.
