I have a half sister of hers by Captain and she is turning out to be a pretty good cow.

Bob you could breed her to Alta cedar Ultimate 130K or one of his sons, that would be similar breeding to TGCC's cow (thumbsup)

Well he would probably work but I was thinking something like Buffalo Lake's herdsire Muridale Blue Seal 41W by Muridale Seal 64P and out of Buster 14K's full sister or even 64P himself if semen was available on either one.

Threads like this one are the good side of shorthorns and one of the strengths the breed has over other breeds.

Wish Maines had the same enthusiasm and diversity of breeders so that disasters don't happen and that there are more breeders out there who will help people rarher than rip people off and destroy valuable animals and semen.
