Hey SP'ers

I am posting this for my friend Lamar Roche.  So dont be hard on me

They are having a club calf say this Saturday and will continue until all the Steers and Heifer are gone.

This is a Load and Go sale or some say Pasture sale...The calves are not washed and waxed (hehe) or Clipped.  but if ou know of someone that needs a good calf in the Northwest, they are there.

Is anyone planning to attend?  Although I have no need for a calf right now, I thought it might be fun to take a day trip from Oregon and have a look.  Last year at Eastern Oregon Livestock Show I fell in love with Linnel's steer the moment I walked in the barn, I had no idea where he came from until I seen Roche's website. 

The problem comes when I think about going, I think I should take the trailer "just in case" but then I know if I drag the trailer all that way I'm going to want to put something in it to bring home.

I talk to my friend Lamar this evening.... Outcome 34 calves are gone... with the higher end calves GONE and the lowest ones also gone.... BUT still have the middle of the road calves.  He said he is going to continue saling them at a load and go style until all of them are gone.

All but one person left with a empty trailer.... That is a good sign...  I have personally seen them and these are very nice county fair and jackpot calves.....(for where we come from)


If you went to the sale then tell us all what you thought or got if you want to.... we always like to here what others think

When I saw the calves there were not priced

So I dont know what the prices are I AM SORRY
